Powering the Platelet Shaker

Follow these steps to correctly connect and power the platelet shaker:

  1. Connect the Power Lead:
Plug the supplied lead into the male IEC socket located on the rear of the incubator. Then plug the 3-pin plug into a 10 amp general-purpose outlet.

  2. Special Setup for TMLR-200 Incubators:
If using the platelet shaker inside a TMLR-200 incubator, use the special power lead provided. This cable transfers power directly from the incubator to the shaker.

  3. Switch On:
Turn the main power switch to the ‘ON’ position to start the shaker.

Loading the Platelet Shaker

Follow these steps to safely load the shaker:

  1. Power Off:
Turn off the main switch to stop shaker movement during loading.

  2. Extend Shelves:
Gently pull out the shelves to access the trays. A stopper pin is in place to prevent the shelves from sliding out too far.

  3. Load the Trays:
Place the items evenly onto the shelves.

  4. Power On:
After loading, switch the main power back to 'ON' to resume shaking.

Note:
When used inside a TMLR-200 incubator, the heat generated by shaker operation helps maintain internal temperature. For this reason, agitation should remain active except during loading.
