Connecting to a Building Monitoring System (BMS)
Some Thermoline cabinets come equipped with a 3-pin socket for connecting to a Building Monitoring System (BMS) or phone dialler.
A compatible plug is provided separately for easy integration with your monitoring system.
Simply connect the plug to the 3-pin socket, and then link it to your BMS or phone dialler to enable remote monitoring and alerts.
The alarm contacts in the Thermoline cabinets are voltage-free. We recommend that only a qualified technician handle the wiring connections to ensure a safe and proper setup. The system can trigger an alarm in response to:
- Loss of Power
 - High and Low Temperature Alarms
 - High and Low Humidity Alarms

These features allow for reliable monitoring of critical conditions via your Building Monitoring System or phone dialler.

For connecting alarm contacts in Thermoline cabinets:
- 1 N/C (Normally Closed): This will open the loop in an alarm situation, which is ideal as any break in the loop is easily detected.
 - 2 N/O (Normally Open): This will close the loop in an alarm situation.
 - 3 COMM (Common): At least one wire must be connected to this pin as a shared contact point.

These configurations allow flexibility in setting up alarm responses tailored to your monitoring needs.
