Alarm Codes

This table lists the On-Screen Alarms for the Dixell XR70 Controller, their causes, and suggested actions:

  • P1: Probe 1 Failure – Call Service.
  • P2: Probe 2 Failure – Call Service.
  • HA: High Alarm (Product Temperature) – The probe in the bottle is above the alarm point.
  • HA2: Possible Probe Fault – Call Service.
  • LA: Low Alarm (Product Temperature) – The probe in the bottle is below the alarm point.
  • LA2: Low Temperature Entering the Cabinet – Possible air blockage in the cabinet.
  • DA: Door Open Alarm – Ensure the door is closed securely.
  • PoF: UP & DOWN Buttons Pressed Simultaneously – Press both buttons until “PoN” appears.

Problem: Temperature of the fridge is running warmer than expected. 

Causes:

  • The condenser may be dirty or blocked.
  • Recently added items may be affecting the internal temperature.
  • Air flow may be blocked.
  • Incorrect offset.

Fix:

  • Clean condenser as described within manual. 
  • If new samples have been added, allow about an hour to see if the temperature stabilises and comes down.
  • Ensure the stock is evenly distributed.
  • Air temperature offset may require to be adjusted.

Problem: PoF is shown on the Dixell Controller.  

Cause:

  • The message "PoF" indicates that the controller is locked.

Fix:

  • Press the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously until PoN appears.

Problem: Condensation on the outside of the door. 

Cause: 

  • Ambient Humidity is too high. 

Fix:

  • Reduce ambient humidity by improving ventilation or using an air conditioner or dehumidifier in the room.
