Problem: Only the Centre of the Plate is Cooling

  • Cause: The set point may be incorrectly configured.

  • Fix:

    1. Ensure the set point is adjusted to a temperature between -10°C and -20°C.
    2. Verify that the cold plate is operating within recommended environmental conditions.

Problem: The Cold Plate is Not Reaching the Set Point

  • Cause: Insufficient airflow, incorrect outlet placement, or operational misuse.

  • Fix:

    1. Check for adequate air circulation around the cold plate and ensure it is spaced properly.
    2. Ensure that the outlet of any adjacent equipment does not face the inlet of the cold plate to avoid hot air interference.
    3. Operate the cold plate for a maximum of 12 hours at a time and clean any residual ice buildup between operations.

Problem: Refrigeration is Not Running

  • Cause: The refrigeration pressure switch may have been triggered or is faulty.

  • Fix:

    1. Reset the switch if it has been triggered due to high or low pressure.
    2. If the issue persists, contact a qualified technician to check for faults in the refrigeration system.
