Cause:
The chamber may still be in an alarm condition, preventing the alarm from being acknowledged. Muting the alarm only temporarily silences it for 15 minutes. -
Fix:
- Check and resolve the alarm condition within the chamber.
- Once the issue is resolved, press and hold the alarm acknowledgment button for 10 seconds to properly reset the alarm.
Problem: Battery Alarm still occurs every 7 days, even after being acknowledged and reset.
-
Cause:
The voltage of the backup battery may be low, causing the alarm to reoccur. -
Fix:
- Inspect the backup battery's voltage level.
- Replace the backup battery if its voltage is insufficient.
Part Number: 70320 - Sealed Lead Acid Backup Battery (12V 9.5A)
Problem: The Climatron is not cooling to the desired temperature.
-
Cause: Several factors can contribute to inadequate cooling:
- Incorrect temperature settings.
- Ambient room conditions affecting performance.
- Calibration offsets.
- Heat output from internal lighting.
-
Fix:
- Verify that the temperature set point is within the specified range for your Climatron model.
- Ensure the ambient room temperature and humidity are within acceptable limits for optimal operation.
- Check the calibration settings to confirm there are no unintended offsets.
- If the Climatron is equipped with internal lighting, be aware that it can increase internal temperatures. Adjust the cooling settings accordingly.
Problem: The Climatron's internal lighting is not functioning.
-
Cause: Possible reasons include:
- Faulty light bulbs or LEDs.
- Issues with the lighting control system.
- Electrical connection problems.
-
Fix:
- Inspect the light bulbs or LEDs for signs of burnout or damage; replace if necessary.
- Check the lighting control settings to ensure they are configured correctly.

Problem: The Climatron displays error codes or alarms.
-
Cause: Error codes can result from:
- Sensor malfunctions.
- System faults.
- Environmental conditions outside operational parameters.
-
Fix:
- Refer to the Climatron user manual to interpret specific error codes.
- Perform a system reset if recommended.
