When installing multiple cabinets, ensure they are positioned so that air from the ventilation grill of one cabinet is not directly drawn into the ventilation grill of the adjacent cabinet.
This setup prevents heat transfer between units, which can impact performance. If adequate spacing cannot be achieved, Thermoline can supply air deflectors to redirect hot air away from neighbouring cabinets.
Section 1: Preparation
- Step 1: Turn off the power and unplug the cabinet.
- Step 2: Position a safety step if needed.
Section 2: Loosen the Existing Grill
- Step 1: Partially loosen the four M4 screws on the existing grill (located on the left side of the cabinet) using a Phillips head screwdriver. Do not fully remove the screws; loosen them just enough for the screws to fit into the key slots on the deflector.
Section 3: Installation of the Deflector
- Step 1: Line up the deflector with the screws and then slide it down in the key slot to hold it in place
- Step 2: Check to ensure all screws are in the key slots, then re-tighten the screws to hold the deflector firmly in place.
Section 3: Power On and Test
- Step 1: Plug the cabinet back in and turn on the power.
- Step 2: Test the airflow. Observe the airflow pattern and check for any irregularities or obstructions caused by the deflector.
