Location

  • Ensure the heater circulator is placed in the bath being used.
  • While the heater circulator does not require ventilation, Thermoline recommends leaving a 100mm clearance on the sides and back of the bath for improved accessibility.
  • Ensure the bath is positioned on a level surface.

Mounting Methods

The heater circulator can be installed using the following method:

  1. Universal Mounting Bracket:

    • The circulator can be attached to the side of any bath using the universal mounting bracket (model: TU-1500-B).

Filling the Water Bath

To ensure proper operation of the TU-1500 heater circulator, the following guidelines must be followed when filling the water bath:

Minimum Fill Level:

  • The bath must be filled with sufficient water to cover the minimum depth required by the TU-1500-B heater circulator.
  • The minimum fill level is etched onto the flat plate of the circulator.

Maximum Fill Level:

  • The water level should not exceed the maximum fill level indicated on the bath itself.
  • For Thermoline TWB baths, this is 30mm below the edge.

Filling Guidelines

When filling the water bath, ensure to account for the displacement caused by the samples being placed into the bath. This prevents the water level from exceeding the maximum fill level marked on the heater circulator, avoiding overflow and ensuring proper operation.

IMPORTANT NOTE

  • Never use the heater circulator with oil. Introducing oil into the bath will lead to pyrolysis (chemical decomposition caused by heat), which may damage the equipment and compromise safety.
  • Do not use deionised water with the heater circulator, as it will corrode the stainless steel and void the warranty.
