Start Up Procedure
- Locate the cabinet as previously described and plug the mains lead into the power supply, but do not turn the power on yet.
- Turn on the power at the outlet for the economy laboratory freezer.
- After a short start-up procedure, the temperature control will display the internal temperature of the freezer.
- Allow the freezer to reach its operating temperature and, if possible, operate for at least 8 hours before loading stock.
Controller
The economy laboratory freezers use the Dixell XR70 Controller, a microprocessor-based controller designed for medium or low-temperature freezers, featuring relay outputs to control the compressor, fan, and defrost (if applicable).
