General Cleaning Instructions

  • Exterior: Clean with a soft cloth and soapy water as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface and cause corrosion. Do not use caustic cleaning agents.

  • Electrical Components: Do not expose any electrical parts to moisture.

  • General inspection of the bath should be made at regular periodic intervals (generally every 6 months).

NOTE: Always switch the bath off and unplug it from the power source before cleaning.

Cleaning the Condenser

  1. Power Off: Turn off power at the power point before beginning.

  2. Locate the Condenser: The condenser is located behind the grill which is positioned on the right side of the unit when facing it.

  3. Remove the Grill: To remove the grill, simply unscrew the screws in the corners and lift the grill off. At this point you would have full access to the condenser and would be able to clean it.

  4. Clean Carefully: Use a soft brush or vacuum with a soft brush attachment to remove any dust or lint buildup. Be careful not to damage the aluminium fins on the condenser face.

NOTES:

  • Use caution around sharp edges exposed when removing the vent cover.
  • Use a soft brush or a vacuum with a soft brush attachment to gently remove any build-up of lint or dust. Take extreme care not to damage the aluminium fins on the condenser face. Do not blow air into the condenser.

Draining

Prior to cleaning or storage, the water bath will need to be drained. The Thermoline water bath has a drain feature located on the left side of the cabinet. Simply pull on the white part to let the water drain from the bath.

Ensure the end of the hose is placed into a sink or suitable drain before removing the plug, as there is no tap to control the flow.
