General Cleaning Instructions

  • Exterior and Plate Surface: Clean with a soft cloth and soapy water as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface and cause corrosion. Do not use caustic cleaning agents. The aluminium plate is a soft metal surface. Be careful not to use anything sharp that may scratch the surface.

  • Electrical Components: Do not expose any electrical parts to moisture.

Cleaning Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is generally resistant to corrosion, but some chemicals and a lack of oxygen can cause rust or pitting. When routine cleaning, avoid deionized water and use water that meets the suggested quality requirements in the water quality section. Use a damp cloth for everyday cleaning, and avoid harsh chemicals.

Cleaning the Condenser

  1. Power Off: Turn off power at the power point before beginning.

  2. Locate the Condenser: The condenser is behind a grill on the side of the cold plate. Looking through the slots, you will be able to see the aluminium fins.

  3. Remove the Grill: Unscrew the four corners of the grill and lift it off to access the condenser.

  4. Clean Carefully: Use a soft brush or vacuum with a soft brush attachment to remove any dust or lint buildup. Be careful not to damage the aluminium fins on the condenser face.
