General Cleaning Instructions
-
Interior, Exterior, and Door Gasket: Clean with a soft cloth and soapy water as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface and cause corrosion. Do not use caustic cleaning agents.
-
Electrical Components: Do not expose any electrical parts to moisture.
Cleaning Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is generally resistant to corrosion, but some chemicals and a lack of oxygen can cause rust or pitting. When routine cleaning, avoid deionized water and use water that meets the suggested quality requirements in the water quality section. Use a damp cloth for everyday cleaning, and avoid harsh chemicals.
Lint Filter Maintenance
The lint filter is located inside the blanket warmer and plays a crucial role in preventing fibres from blankets from reaching the heating elements, reducing the risk of fire. To ensure optimal safety and performance, the filter must be removed and cleaned every 3 months. Regular maintenance of the lint filter helps maintain the efficiency and safety of the blanket warmer.
Using a Philips head screwdriver, remove the two screws holding the lint filter cover on and clean off any dust that may have accumulated.
Door Gasket Maintenance
The door gasket should be cleaned regularly with a mild soap solution. Regular inspection is recommended. If the gasket needs replacement, please contact Thermoline for assistance.
