Electrical
The hotplate stirrer requires a 10amp, 230V, 50Hz power supply. Use a dedicated outlet for the hotplate stirrer, and avoid using power boards or extension cords. Each hotplate stirrer is supplied with a standard 3-pin moulded plug for connection to the mains.
Power Supply:
-
The hotplate stirrer comes with a 2.5m removable mains power lead, featuring a three-pin plug and a female IEC plug. Ensure the hotplate stirrer is positioned at a reasonable distance from the power supply.
 -
The hotplate stirrer itself has a male IEC socket.

Maintenance
Cleaning Instructions
-
Clean with a soft cloth and soapy water as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface and cause corrosion. Do not use caustic cleaning agents.
 -
Electrical Components: Do not expose any electrical parts to moisture.

Cleaning Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is generally resistant to corrosion, but some chemicals and a lack of oxygen can cause rust or pitting. When routine cleaning, avoid deionized water and use water that meets the suggested quality requirements in the water quality section. Use a damp cloth for everyday cleaning, and avoid harsh chemicals.
