Intended Use

The Thermoline Refrigerated Water Baths TWBRC-24 are designed and manufactured in Australia. These are designed to operate within a temperature range of ambient -5°C to +80°C. The Thermoline Refrigerated Water Bath offers an industry-standard in temperature control.

UnpackingUnpacking Process 2-1

  • The refrigerated water bath is packed on a timber skid with a lift-off carton placed over the top. It is then strapped to the skid before dispatch.

  • To unpack the refrigerated water bath, cut the straps, then carefully slide the carton upwards to remove it.

  • If you notice any damage upon opening your package, report the details immediately to your supplier or Thermoline at:

Moving and Lifting

When moving and locating the refrigerated water bath, take caution due to the weight of the unit (even when empty). The TWBRC-24 weighs 40kg.

Operating Environment

Water Bath Location

  • Place the water bath away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Ensure the room's ambient temperature does not exceed the water bath's operational limits.
  • Water baths must be stored indoors at all times. Failure to do so may result in a significant decline in water bath performance and potential damage to stored items.
  • When not in use, ensure the unit is powered down and stored out of the water.

Electrical Connections

  • Refrigerated Water Bath Electrical ConnectionsAll water baths require a 10amp, 230V, 50Hz power supply.
  • Use a dedicated outlet for the circulator, and avoid using power boards or extension cords.
  • Included with the water bath is a removable mains power lead with a three-pin plug and a right angle female IEC plug.
  • On the water bath itself, there is a 10-amp male IEC socket (power port). Ensure that the mains plug and switch are easily accessible.
  • The power and control cable must be plugged into the back of the heater circulator and into the bath before startup.

Warning WARNINGS

  • Water baths must be stored indoors at all times. Failure to do so may result in a significant decline in water bath performance and potential damage to stored items.
  • Water baths are not suitable for use with flammable solvents. They contain components that may act as an ignition source.
  • Water baths can heat water up to 80°C and may become hot to the touch, including optional lids. Handle with care.
  • When removing packaging from the water bath, use caution when handling knives to cut tape and cardboard.
