Intended Use

The Thermoline range of shakers includes orbital, linear, rocker, and 3D models, offering versatility for various applications. A range of accessories is also available, ensuring compatibility with different sample types.

Unpacking

  • The laboratory shaker is packed in a carton for delivery.
  • Refer to the diagrams below for proper unpacking instructions.

Speed Control Knob

Set target speed. Push on/off the knob to start/stop the shaking function.

Timer Control Knob Set target time. Push on/off the knob to start/stop the shaking function.
Speed Display Display the set and real speed values.
Time Display Display the set and remain time values.
Power Switch Switch ON/OFF instrument.

Operating Environment

Shaker Location

  • Place the shaker away from direct sunlight and heat sources (e.g., heaters).
  • Ensure the room's ambient temperature does not exceed the shaker's operational limits.
  • Shakers should be stored inside at all times.

Electrical Connections

  • The laboratory shaker requires a 10Amp, 230V, 50Hz power supply.
  • A dedicated outlet should be used for all laboratory shakers. Do not use power boards or similar devices. The laboratory shaker includes a removable mains power lead with a three-pin plug and a straight female IEC plug.
  • On the rear of the laboratory shaker, there is a 10Amp male IEC socket (power port) with a power switch located on the left-hand side. Ensure that both the mains plug and the switch are easily accessible.

Warning WARNINGS

  • Laboratory shakers should be stored indoors at all times.

  • Laboratory shakers are not suitable for use with flammable solvents, as they contain components that may act as an ignition source.

  • Exercise caution when removing packaging from the laboratory shaker, especially when using knives to cut tape and cardboard.
