Intended Use

The Thermoline Economy Laboratory Freezers are designed for the storage of temperature-sensitive samples in research, medical, and industrial environments. They provide precise temperature control and reliable performance to ensure sample integrity. The single-door Economy Laboratory Freezer is ideal for labs with limited space, offering efficient storage without compromising performance.

Control Accuracy: ±0.25°C

Operating Temperature: from -20°C to -10°C in the freezers.

Unpacking

Unpacking Process for Box and Skid
  • Unpacking Process 2-1Economy Laboratory Freezers will be delivered packed in a box on a skid.
  • Before proceeding, ensure that all internal and external packaging has been removed, including tape, plastic bags, and foam pieces.
  • To remove the box, cut the cling wrap and straps, then carefully slide the box upwards to expose the cabinet.
  • If damage is present upon opening, notify your supplier or Thermoline without delay at +61 2 9604 3911 or service@thermoline.com.au.

Moving

Pallet JackMoving the Cabinet:
  • While on a skid, the Economy Laboratory Freezer can be moved using a pallet jack until it is unpacked.
  • Once unpacked, the freezer is equipped with single-direction rollers at the back to assist with movement.

Operating Environment

Location

  • Place the freezer away from direct sunlight and heat sources (e.g., heaters).
  • Ensure the room's ambient temperature does not exceed the cabinet's operational limits.
  • The freezer should be stored inside at all times. Failure to adhere to this could cause significant drops in cabinet performance and damage to items stored inside.

    Under no circumstances should these cabinets be stacked on top of each other.

Electrical Connections

Thermoline Economy Laboratory Freezers require a standard 10A, 230V, 50Hz power supply.

  • Use a dedicated outlet; do not connect to power boards or extension leads.
  • The freezer is equipped with a 2.5-metre power cord with a 3-pin moulded plug as standard.

Warning Operating Environment Warnings

  • The cabinet should be stored indoors at all times. Failure to adhere to this could cause significant drops in cabinet performance and damage to items stored inside.

  • When removing packaging, exercise caution when using knives to cut tape and cardboard to avoid damaging the cabinet.
